All students are required to submit arrival details before they depart for American University.
Please provide your arrival details at least 15 days in advance of the program start date. If flying airport transfer is available at both Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Reagan National Airport (DCA) airports. We need to know when you are arriving so we can:

Arrange your free ride from the airport to campus

Help prevent any issues with enrollment once you arrive
When planning your arrival please book your travel plans to arrive on your scheduled move-in date:

Arriving before your scheduled move-in date?
You will need to arrange your own private airport transfer and accommodation. Please refer to your Next Steps Guide: Before You Arrive booklet for a list of hotels and transportation services near American University. Contact us if you are arriving prior to or after the move-in date and would like to book airport transfer service. We will do our best to accommodate requests outside of move-in dates.
